TRIOS® Digital Scanner

Our practice is focused on making your dental experience as comfortable as possible. Digital scanners eliminate the need for most impressions and allow the information to reach our dental laboratory over a secure internet connection much faster than sending traditional records. The scanner captures over 3,000 2-D images per second, which is 100 times faster than a conventional video camera. Scanning is a comfortable experience for our patients and provides Dr. Sanders with crisp digital images for our laboratories.

Oral DNA® Salivary Testing

Oral DNA® Labs offers several tests that your oral healthcare professional might want to use. My PerioPath® is a laboratory test that identifies and measures harmful bacteria in your mouth. Dr. Sanders will use this information for early detection of problems, to personalize treatment, and to determine the appropriate follow-up. My PerioPath® allows Dr. Sanders to see these bacteria just like an x-ray helps your doctor see your bones and teeth. Dr. Sanders may order either My PerioID® or Celsus One™ to learn if you were born with gene markers associated with increased inflammation, a critical factor in the severity of periodontal, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

Digital X-Rays

Exceptional care begins with exceptional tools. That’s why we use advanced digital X-ray technology—giving our team clearer, faster imaging while keeping your comfort and safety at the forefront.

Digital X-rays provide high-resolution images instantly, helping us diagnose and treat dental concerns more accurately and efficiently. They also use significantly less radiation than traditional X-rays, making them a safer choice for patients of all ages.

By staying up to date with the latest technology, we’re able to deliver care that’s both precise and patient-centered. If you have any questions about digital X-rays, we’re always happy to walk you through the process at your next visit.

3D CT Scans

Similar to a panoramic X-ray, our digital 3D CT scanner produces a fully rotatable, high-definition model of your teeth, jaw, and surrounding structures. This layered, 360-degree view leads to more accurate diagnoses and allows us to plan complex treatments, such as implant restorations or TMJ therapy, with enhanced precision.

Digital 3D Tooth Scans

Say goodbye to uncomfortable, goopy impressions. Our advanced intraoral scanner creates a digital 3D model of your teeth with pinpoint accuracy, making the process of designing crowns, veneers, and other restorations more comfortable and more efficient.

In-House 3D Printing

We use in-house 3D printers to create custom dental appliances like bite splints and night guards, often with faster turnaround times than outsourcing. These printed appliances are carefully tailored to your bite and provide exceptional fit and durability.

STA Single-Tooth Anesthesia System

No more waiting for your whole face to go numb. This computer-assisted anesthesia system delivers medication precisely to the tooth being treated, resulting in a more comfortable experience and faster recovery with less lingering numbness.

Pre-Start™ Microabrasion System

This small but powerful device prepares the inside surface of restorations, like crowns and veneers, for better bonding. It helps ensure longer-lasting results by creating a more secure bond between your restoration and your natural tooth.

HEPA Air Filtration in Every Room

Every treatment room, and even our waiting area, is equipped with medical-grade HEPA filters to reduce airborne particles, including viruses, bacteria, and allergens. This extra layer of protection is just one more way we prioritize your health and safety.

Two-Way Headset Communication

Our team stays connected throughout your visit with hands-free headset systems, helping us coordinate behind the scenes without interrupting your appointment or creating unnecessary delays.

Big-Screen Treatment Room Monitors

Our treatment rooms feature large monitors that allow you to view your X-rays, scans, and treatment visuals right from the chair. This makes it easy for our doctors to walk you through your diagnosis and options with complete transparency.

Precision with Magnification

Both our doctors and hygienists use high-powered magnification glasses (loupes) during your procedures. This enhances visibility and precision, helping ensure the highest standard of care with every treatment.

Clinical Photography for Smile Design

We use an extensive photography process to document your starting point, track progress, and design personalized treatment plans, especially for cosmetic and full-smile transformations. These photos play a key role in our ability to visualize and deliver your ideal smile.

Intraoral Camera

Prevention is at the heart of everything we do, and modern tools help us spot problems earlier and treat them more effectively. One of the best diagnostic advancements we use is the intraoral camera, which allows us to see your teeth and gums in real-time, with remarkable clarity and detail.

While X-rays are essential, they can’t always show surface-level issues. With our intraoral camera, we can identify problems like cracks, cavities near fillings, plaque buildup, and worn enamel—all while showing you exactly what we see on a chairside monitor. The camera is small, about the size of a dental mirror, and non-invasive.

This tool not only improves diagnosis but also helps you become a more informed partner in your care. When you can clearly see what’s happening inside your mouth, you can better understand your options and make confident decisions about your treatment. It’s just one more way we’re making your dental care smarter, clearer, and more personalized.

Digital CT Imaging & Surgical Guide Software

For complex procedures, precise imaging leads to better outcomes. That’s why we work closely with trusted local oral surgeons who offer digital CT imaging and surgical guide planning—helping ensure the most accurate and comfortable treatment experience possible.

Digital CT scans provide highly detailed, 3D views of your teeth, jawbone, sinuses, and surrounding anatomy. This technology is used to support a wide range of services, including:

  • Dental implant planning and placement
  • Wisdom teeth removal and impaction evaluation
  • TMJ diagnostics
  • Airway assessment and sleep apnea screening
  • Full facial and jaw structure imaging

Patients benefit from:

  • A lower radiation dose compared to traditional CT scans
  • An open, seated design for increased comfort and reduced anxiety
  • Faster imaging with cost-effective results
  • Easy sharing of scan data between our team, your surgeon, and any specialists involved in your care
